Bring your shoes in a separate carrier bag and receive £5.00 per sack!!!
The Scheme encourages children and their families to bring their unwanted items of clothing, shoes, belts, bags and bedding into their school or group in our special 'Phil' the Bag sacks which are provided to the children to take home.
Two weeks later, on your chosen 'Recycle Day', we collect the bags, weigh them and for each tonne collected the school or group receives £350 ( 35p per kilo). We will then provide you with a Certificate of Achievement and send your cheque within 28 days. If you book 2 'Recycle Days' at the same time we will increase the payment you receive to £400 per tonne for both collections!!
You don't have to worry about collecting a whole tonne of textiles either as we pay by the kilo, so every item counts!
It really is that easy! (Just think how these additional funds could be spent - extra books, computers, sports equipment, a school trip or on eco-friendly initiatives like plants for the school garden...!)
